Born and raised in Calgary - Alberta, then moving to Chestermere in 2007 Sandra has over 20+ years of experience as a master colorist, a Matrix educator and mentor and certified BABE extensionist with expertise in hair styling and business management. Sandra brings a level of premium quality to a new high. Book an appointment with her and leave a new you! |

HOW IT ALL STARTED:
Sandra completed hair school in Calgary, Alberta in 2001. She achieved high accolades for her top of the class marks and went on to complete her red-seal certification for interprovincial hairdressing. Sandra worked at many high end salons and quickly became recognized for her passion as a color specialist. While working full time, Sandra worked very hard to also continue with her education. She completed various management courses at Mount Royal University and began to coach and mentor other stylists at the salon. After moving to Chestermere in 2007, it became a dream of hers to one day open her own salon in the community where she lived. Knowing this would be difficult, she immersed herself into office management and learned all the ins and outs of running a salon. In 2012 it all started to take shape and Sandra's vision finally came to fruition. With the support of her loving husband they created an upscale salon in the main level of their home. Bringing in top of the line furniture from Italy and waiting 8 months for all the inspections to clear, the doors of Hair Affair opened in August of 2012. Staying up to date with the hair industry is very important to Sandra and she takes many classes over the years. She loves giving back to the community and has been a part of many fairs and trade-shows, silent auctions and community parades and initiatives. She also enjoys working on the runway, styling models and doing hair for dance competitions and various academies. In her spare time Sandra loves travelling with her husband and unwinding at the beach. She adores her beautiful golden retriever Lola. Sandra also lives a spiritual life, enjoys cooking and doing various types of crafts.

Lola is our beautiful golden retriever. She loves to be in the salon, give kisses, get petted, bring you her toys and is the best salon assistant.
